Here is a transcript :
2805Dave Jaffer
Like many young bands, Intensive Care occasionally err by imitating their influences (Muse most specifically). Ignore this minor crime - and you should - and you'll find an interesting local band that blends the barbed, dirty, unfriendly elbows of rock with calmer tenets of jazz. Sometimes it flat-out doesn't work, but oftentimes it does. Clearly, there's a lot of talent here, revealed most specifically in the rockier moments of
Distorted Love Song and
Stray. If I'm right in assuming an EP's job is to build up interest in the LP, then consider
2805 a success.
