Busy Like Bees
I'm happy to see that we're taking quite an interesting direction and the songs are sounding different : not different enough as to clash with our repertoire, but different enough to feel fresh.
There's a fun Treasure Hunt song that is coming up. We played it live the first time last week and it sounded amazing. It includes a 4 minutes zelda-jam in the end that has us all go YEAH !
Another song coming up is more happy and uplifting (in an intensive-care way that is). Don't expect to feel joyful after it, but I'd have to say that it's definetly more on the bright side.
Hopefully, by mid-August, we'll have three new songs ready to be played for our "departure gig" on the 11th.
I should also mention we're working on covers these days. New covers coming up include Silverchair and Cake songs... We plan on having a new cover every gig!

New Review !
here is the text
8/10

book recommendation
haha!
No seriously, he's very rapidly becoming one of my favorite authors. He's witty, has a great style and has that jewish paranoia/wisdom that I love about jewish artists (namely woody allen), exept more sexual and more dramatic :) but expect a few innapropriate laughs on the way.
Check him out
Other recommendations by him : The dying animal and The Breast , which are both part of the Kepesh Trilogy (first part being The professor of desire)

Music I've been listening to
First of all, Explosions in the Sky are simply awesome. Think of them as a blend of Sigur Ros and GodSpeed you black emperor. Their latest album moves me very much and I would definetly recommend it.
Other artists on my ipod this week are montreal's Besnard Lakes. they're the montreal indie rock version of the beach boys. haha Seriously...
That's it for now.
Back for more soon.
